“An Update on Fronting and Misrepresentation of B-BBEE Status Cases”

You are cordially invited to join us as we share the investigation and enforcement work of the

B-BBEE Commission for a three-year cycle on the virtual platform. Special focus will be placed on

the characteristics or peculiarities of cases that were received and investigated, numbers, type and

sectoral trends, cases resolved through alternative dispute resolution, compliance with remedial

recommendations, as well as challenges and proposed solutions relating to the investigation

and enforcement function. This session is also aimed at guiding entities and B-BBEE beneficiaries

on the requirements of the B-BBEE Act with a view to identify and deter fronting practices and

misrepresentation of B-BBEE status.
