The case will be heard in the North Gauteng High Court on 11 March 2019

The DA wants to take South Africa's leader, Cyril Ramaphosa, to court because they think there are ministers who are not fit for their jobs.

According to the DA's leader, Mmusi Maimane, neither Bathabile Dlamini nor Malusi Gigaba should hold offices.

In October, the DA gave the president a 5-day ultimatum on this issue, lest he should have to face legal action.

Maimane stated that both Gigaba and Dlamini must be removed from their posts. He added that there are many ministers who are unfit and do not do their jobs, but this is different.

There are legal cases that are pending against these ministers. The case will be heard in the North Gauteng High Court on 11 March 2019.

However, Maimane hopes that the president will "do the right thing" before then.
